TENDER NOTICE-PROVISION OF LEGAL SERVICES IN SOMALILAND AND SOMALIA REGIONS

1.0 Overview

World Vision International (WVI) is a Relief and Development Organization working to promote the well-being of children. WVI invites tenders for provision of Legal Services for a period of three (3) years. Eligible Legal firms are invited to apply for the tender to act as an advocate and legal advisor to provide legal assistance and expertise in all our operation areas in Somaliland and Somalia regions.

2.0 Mandatory Requirements

The Legal Firm must provide and ensure the following conditions are met:

1. Provide a certified copy of certificate of Incorporation/Registration (Attach a copy)
2. Provide a copy of Tax Certificate from the respective Regional/Government regional Tax Agency/Department (Attach a copy)
3. Provide name of directors/owners of the firm
4. A brief description of the legal firm’s background and overview (Attach registration for the last three years 2019-2021 in both Somalia and Somaliland)
5. Clear details of the scope of the legal services the firm is offering.
6. A list and contacts of your clients receiving similar services from your company. (Attach at least five reference letters from your clients)
7. Professional experience of the Law Firm’s Founders (Attach their current CVs)
8. Detailed scope of the proposed legal services and how to implement.
9. Properly arranged/paginated/serialized document. (Document should be arranged as per this numbers1-9) in PDF

3.0 Technical Requirements

The Technical Proposal shall provide the following information (but not limited to the below):

1. Submit recommendation letters from at least Five (5) INGOs and/or corporate clients served in a similar assignment in the last three (3) years (2018, 2019 and 2020).

Demonstrate capacity to provide services across all regions in Somalia and Somaliland (branch network) Clearly indicate your area of operations and location of offices

1. Proposed supervisory team engaged with this assignment – CVs, profiles and role of each member and expected communication channel(s)/protocol

Proposed Methodology or process of service delivery (Describe the process and proposed turnaround time)

4.0 Financial Requirements

1.0 Provide a financial proposal that describes the proposed legal fee charges structure/methodology in USD. Applicable taxes should be indicated clearly.

All interested bidders are requested to submit their (2.0) Mandatory Requirements, (3.0) Technical Requirements and (4.0) Financial Requirements in Separate documents as attachments (Bidders who will combine both technical and financial proposals shall be disqualified) via email somo_supplychain@wvi.org on or before 26^th July 2021*.*

Bids received after deadline shall not be considered.
