QUOTATION REQUEST FOR SELECTION OF TRAVEL AGENCY FOR BOOKING OF AIR TICKETS FOR ACTIONAID SOMALILAND

ActionAid is an international anti-poverty agency that takes sides with poor people to end poverty and injustice together. Formed in 1972, it has grown and expanded for over 40 years and today works with more than 15 million of the world’s poorest and most disadvantaged people in over 45 countries worldwide to help them fight for and gain their rights to food, shelter, work, education, healthcare and a voice in the decisions that affect their lives.

ActionAid International Somaliland is going to bid travel agency quotation, as it is expecting to get potential travel agency which can provide air ticketing and other necessary facilities related to this matter. ActionAid International makes this bid yearly and the potential travel agency will work with ActionAid International for 2021.

Therefore, ActionAid International considered your travel agency one of the potential travel agencies, hence sealed quotation with your stamp is invited from your reputed travel agency filling with and answering all the requested queries. All the quotations should be submitted on Sunday, 21st February 2021.

  2. The bidder shall quote prices in USD only.
  3. The selected will work for ActionAid Somaliland for one year only.
  4. The selection process depends on the eligibility criteria and all quoted travel agencies have equal opportunity.

Fill the following areas/answer the following queries.

1.     List all the flights that you can book.
2.     Do you have IATA member registration or do you use PSA or GSA?   Please clarify and explain the one you use.
3.     How many International NGOs have you worked or currently working with and who they are? (ActionAid will communicate to confirm this relationship)
4.     Do you have equipped operational office?
5.     What are your payment terms?
6.     Do you use email communication system?
7.     Do you have a profile? Submit along with this quotation request if any.
8.     What are other facilities that you can provide to ActionAid?
9.     Please give the booking and prices for the following tickets.·      HARGEISA – ACCRA(GHANA)- – HARGEISA

Departure date: 25th February 2021

Returning date: 1st March 2021

·      HARGEISA – LONDON – HARGEISA

Departure date: 5th March 2021

Return date: 15th March 2021.

·      HARGEISA – BANGKOK – HARGEISA

Departure date: 20th March, 2021

Return date: 28th March, 2021

Please submit response by hand delivery to ActionAid Office in Hargeisa in a sealed envelope clearly addressed to: Head of Procurement Committee- ActionAid Somaliland, Prequalification application (Travel Agency) by latest on Sunday, 21st February 2021 at 4:00 pm, at ActionAid Hargeisa Office, Gantalaha Near Gandi School.
