Construction of Revenue Huts
IFB Number: SWS/W/04/2019
Southwest State of Somalia (SWS) has set aside funds being provided by the DFID/EU funded PREMIS PFM programme to cover eligible payments under a contract for the Procurement of Construction of Revenue Huts for Southwest State of Somalia. Four (4) Revenue Huts will be constructed in each of the states of Galmudug, Southwest and Hirshabelle. This IFB is done concurrently with the other two Federal Member States.
Location: The construction will be located at four points in SWS (Bakin,Al- Amxaar, ADC and Livestock Market)
Duration: The construction will take place over a period of 4 Months Expected start date is October, 2019.
Type of Award: Works Construction Contract.
Proposal Closing Date: 30th September 2019 at 5:00PM Hours East Africa Time.
SWS invites eligible contractors to indicate their interest in providing the above services by obtaining the Invitation for Bid (IFB) document from the Public Procurement Department office at the Ministry of Finance, Southwest State of Somalia Compound. The IFB may also be viewed on the Ministry Website southwestmof.so . The IFB contains full details of the requirement, including Specification and Drawing, bid submission requirements, as well as details of the evaluation and contract award process. Potential bidders are encouraged to consider the Supplementary Information in Part 2 – Works Requirements relating to the overall Revenue Hut programme before preparing and submitting a bid.
Bidding will be in accordance with the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the South West Public Procurement Policy & Procedure Manual under the section for ‘Procurement of Works’.
