Action Against Hunger – Somalia intends to award a works/service Contract for HYDROGEOLOGICAL GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY & BOREHOLE DRILLING Works in Eyl district in Somalia with the below Purchase Dossier Reference Number: PD-MOG-00339-001

PAYMENT INFORMATION

ACF shall pay for hydrogeological survey upon submission of the survey report in agreed format including the design requirements, ie, BOQ and drawings for the new borehole (drilling, development, pump installation, solar array and water kiosks/animal troughs).

Subsequently, the contractor shall drill at his own expense in the recommended site(s) and payments for successful borehole shall be paid on the following basis: (NB: No payments shall be made for a negative borehole or for a borehole whose yield is below the threshold of multipurpose boreholes (should be above 10M³/hr).

1. Basis for Payment for Drilling

The Contractor will be paid for drilling on a meterage basis as indicated in the Bill of Quantities.

1. Basis for Payment for Borehole Completion

The contractor will be paid on a meterage basis for the supply and installation of PVC casings and PVC screens in accordance with the respective borehole design.

1. Basis for Payment for Borehole Development

The Contractor will be paid for the cost of borehole development as per BoQ unit costs for the respective works.

1. Basis for Payment for Pumping Tests

The Contractor will be paid for the cost of borehole development as per BoQ unit costs for the respective works.
